I am a singer songwriter who has formed and performed in many bands throughout the year. I am 33 years old. I mainly play rythm guitar and am lead vocalist. I love music with everything I am, and am ready to find some serious, yet experimental type, musicians who want to try and come up with an original, either modern rock or modern rock country, sound. Prefer modern rock or even heavy metal, of sorts. I like to perform live and am willing to dedicate my life to the band. I'm looking for musicians of the starving artist sect that want to create art and not just fall in the footsteps of everything that's already been done. It's not all about the money but I would like to make enough money to live decently playing music. Work hard and play a lot of gigs. Travel a lot and be booked all the time. Get the music down but also know how to let the music play us. I like to feel the energy of the crowd, when I'm playing live. I feed off of it. I am also a Christian, so if there are any Chrisian musicians that want to, form an experimental group and tour the country performing for God, let me know. Otherwise those of you that aren't, Don't think that I will be judgemental of your lifestyles. I can't live how I'm supposed to, half the time, so lets just rock out and let the music take us where it will. I don't mind playing covers, to get our foot in the club doors, and then mixing in our stuff with that.

My favorite bands are bands like, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage against the machine, Clutch, Motorhead, Seether, Damage Plan, The Doors, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Chevelle, White Zombie, Some Pantera, Puddle of Mud, Black Sabbath, Santana, The Stooges, The Dead Kennedys, The White Stripes, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, and many More. I like a wide range of music, but mostly rock genre.

I am mostly a lead vocalist but I do have, at this time, an electric acoustic guitar, which I write with, and a small 15 watt amp. If you know what I truly mean by,starving artist, you can understand why I don't have a lot of equipment right now. Yeah, that's right, I support the local pawn shop community when the band, I'm in, dosnt want to proceed any further than, getting messed up and playing the local frat club. I prefer Gibson guitars and all tube amps, which I have had a few times. Also, for vocals, I like to keep at least a 400 watt p/a system on hand. Right now I just have my guitar, My voice, and cd's of the past work I've done with other bands, and solo stuff I've recorded, myself, so you can get a feel of what I want to do. I also have a lot of poetry written that can be turned into song.
