I have played for many successful bands primarily from the Maryland area.I play several instruments but I have been playing bass more over the past years then other instruments. I have played pretty much every role when it comes to bass from a full time band member, to hired gun, to emergency fill-in, to studio work, etc..... I will be moving to PA soon (right over the MD line near 83). I prefer to roll with the times when it comes to cover songs. I also prefer to play music that projects energy when it comes to live shows. I am not really interested in becoming a member of a start up group (unless it is a power group of known musicians that is pretty much guaranteed to take off ). I am not interested in becoming a permanent member of a band that covers whiney nasal style singers (I probably would help out and fill-in though).Also I am not looking to pay to play or sell tickets to do a show (unless it is opening for a national)etc... Looking for other pros/pro minded people.....
I will be more then glad to help in writing if someone needs me. Acoustic, rhythm, bass, whatever..
