Professional Cuban-American Drummer/Percussionist Available:

Freelancer, fully bilingual, (Spanish-English), able to play drums and all Latin Percussion instruments, (bongos, timbales, congas, cajón, drums, and all miscellaneous Latin Percussion instruments).

Over 45 years of musical experience from performances with duos, trios, quartets, quintets, and orchestras in all types and genres of American and Latin American music.

Specialty on all authentic genres of Cuban and Afro-Cuban rhythms and genres, new and contemporary such as Jazz, Cuban Jazz, Latin Jazz, Son Cubano, Timba, Songo, Changüí, Pilón, Mozambique, Mambo, Cha-Cha-Chá, Big Band, Flamenco, Rumba Flamenca, Blues, Rock, Country, Swing, Latin Rock, Pop, Bossa-Nova, Christian, Lounge, R&B, plus many others, too many to mention. Able to do some vocals as well.

I am available ONLY for serious and PAID gig/performances and studio recordings.

Professional, educated, mature, old-timer, knowledgeable of all American and Latin-American music standards, reliable, responsible, punctual, cooperative, ethical, disciplined, respectful, clean, non-smoker, non-alcohol drinker, with integrity, positive attitude, commitment, good presence, own equipment and own transportation. US Citizen with passport ready to travel abroad. No drugs, cigarettes, or alcohol.

With all my respect, I only perform ethically and professionally, and therefore, I do not perform “for free”, for food, for drinks, “fame”, nor for “public exposure”.

I do auditions only when there is a monetary fee. I work at all times with signed contracts ONLY.
