ABOUT

I grew up in a family of multi-talented musicians and singers. My mother was a superb Jazz vocalist and pianist, while my father played various instruments as a Jazz musician and band leader/music teacher. I've always been the front man in all of the many bands I've performed with. Today I have been fortunate to preserve my voice, plus an addition opportunity to record new original songs as well as my old ones. I've signed in the past to two major record company's, and I look forward to getting back on stage. The stage is my life, and the only place in the world where I feel most comfortable. Working with others has never been a problem for me. I tend to work well with those who share the same goal and love for music. My challenges have been met with learning from situations that may have had a better outcome if approached differently. Today I live in a place of Love everybody race, color, and creed. And through gods grace I am changed. Not perfect, but healed.

Influences

My influences first begin with my parents as amazing musicians, and from there it began with Motown's finest. Some of the best entertainers developed from Motown records, and I grew up studying Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Switch, Al Green, and not to leave anyone out purposely. The list goes on and on. Other influences have moved over in the world of Gospel music. What is singing without soul, and where does soul come from? of course, Gospel singing.
