I was a self-taught guitar player, but I did have struggles. I was on the verge of giving up on music when a friend suggested the bass. I'm still self-taught, but I fit with the bass very well. I'm looking to play with musicians that can be a little patient with me (since I'm not properly trained in music). Originals, covers, I'm open minded. I never felt confident enough with the guitar to be in a band. I do with the bass. I'm listed as moderately committed, but with the right musicians, I can become very committed.
