I started off playing guitar, taking some lessons, and played allot of acoustic solo and duet kind of stuff.
Then I switched to upright bass. Took bass lessons for a short time. Playing mostly with friends doing allot of folk and acoustic blues. Shortly after that I added electric bass doing folk rock stuff adding allot of psychedelic blues jams.

I then went back to upright bass doing bluegrass and I've been doing that on and off ever since the 90's. Somewhere in there I got an offer to join a country band and went back to electric bass really fell in love with classic country and western swing. Like The Four Star Years of Patsy Cline and early styles of country music. ://.patsified/fourstar.html Also took electric bass lessons for a short time.

Also have experience in Modern Country, Oldies, and Motown. Learning cover material is no problem, learning off the recording or adding my own lines.

I've done allot of pick up band stuff summertime gigs and fill in's. Played hundreds of gigs including, campgrounds, benefits, festivals.
