Red Shot Pony is a four piece genre-blending cover band that is best described in one word: Versatility. Red Shot Pony has been part of the local Ogden/SLC music scene since 2005. Through the years they have grown tremendously and now their set includes an eclectic mix from many styles. Each member of the band has years of experience in working bands, and brings that professionalism, know-how and high energy performance when it's time to hit the stage. Whether it is Pop, Rock, Country, Blues, Funk, or Reggae "The Pony" can do it all and loves it all. If it is a good song, they will do it and they will do it well, regardless of the genre. They can do more of one style and less of another depending on the venues needs but no matter what the style, every show is a mission to get the crowd on their feet, caught up in their good time and make them dance all night! Every band member comes from a different background, which gives their overall sound a depth and variety that influences not only their choice of cover music but their original songs as well.
