I am an amateur musician. My main instrument is a straight (no F valve) Bb tenor slide trombone. I normally play lead or 1st trombone in the groups I play in.. I currently play in 2 bands, the Valley Winds Swing Band and the Valley Winds Concert Band, both based in the Temecula/Murietta area. I'm 62 years old, and am fully retired, as of 06/01/17. I have played in all kinds of groups: swing bands, concert bands, orchestras, brass choirs, brass quintets, etc... I ran across the Bandmix link on my page, and thought I would check it out, to maybe meet some new friends. I'm not a very good soloist, in terms of jazz improvisation, but I hope to take care of that, by practicing a lot more, now that I'm fully retired.

EQUIPMENT
I play a Conn 48H Constellation trombone. This is the trombone I've played on pretty much my whole life.
