Rhythm Guitar, Keyboard.

I play bass and keyboards in band called Big Murder.

We play original rock, and mix in enough covers to play most places, but our love and focus is on writing our own material. We get off on it! 99X plays our tunes from time to time, and we expect more airplay from our new album release "Slow Moving Planet" (on iTunes and CD Baby).

We rehearse once a week (in Duluth) and are seeking a keyboardist/guitarist that can sing, and thrives on writing great original material. We took a short break through the Holidays and intend to ramp up our 2019 gigging schedule starting in March. Please get a hold of me with samples if you are interested in working together! 678-925-5818
Our Philosophy:
We believe for a band to function it's not enough to be a skilled musician. Everyone needs to check their ego at the door. It's about being respectful and trustworthy (basically being a grown-up). There are people counting on you. Just wanted to start with that thought. There is no productivity or longevity without these ingredients. We also like to have a shitload of fun. That's why we do what we do. Love of the game.

Dynamics are VERY important to us – so we're looking to play with serious musicians that LISTEN to each other. If you turn your amp to 11 and leave it there, we will eventually shoot you. :c)
About me:
I have a permanent fixed address, an actual day job (not selling weed), and I DON'T live in my mom's basement. I know ... not a typical bass player - right?

I can sing solid backups and have a great ear, which works well for vocal arranging.

I play a Geddy Lee Fender Jazz with a GK head and Hartke 410 and 115 cabs.

I am a creative bassist - meaning I'm not addicted to the root. I like to move around, and when appropriate, change the feel of a chord with inversions. I'm also a singer/songwriter and guitarist (mostly acoustic), playing anything from intricate picking to heavy rhythm. I can also play keys, drums and percussion – and love to record - and gig!

Playing creative and innovative music is my primary motivator. When I do covers I like to put my own spin on them.

Graduated in Music Theory/Composition and Commercial Art and Advertising. (I could never decide between art and music).

Bottom line: I want to make some serious music and have a great time doing it!
