Our band, the all original Black Snake Bayou Band is currently looking for a high energy front man. We are tired of the bar scene and want to step up the game to festivals and opening for big acts.Our current singer is the writer and rhythm guitarist. He wants to hand off the singing to someone else. If you're looking for the immediate gratification of playing copy you will be disappointed; because this takes a certain level of commitment. I drummed for Robbin Thompson in the 70's. Robbin was Bruce Springsteen's lead singer in one of his early bands, named Steel Mill. Info on Robbin can be found at RobbinThompson.com.
I played 25 years with The Buddy Parker Band. We opened for BB King, The Beach Boys, Delbert McClinton, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Night Hawks, Joe Bonamassa, Charlie Sexton, etc. I am heavily influenced by Mitch Mitchel and John Bonham.
I have played mainly for all original bands, but have also worked for blues, and top 40's bands.
