Independent guitarist/singer/writer looking to connect with complementary musicians who share similar taste and musical direction. Just enough overlap to give us something to work on together while borrowing from our individual roots. I played semi-pro (guitars and some synth) some odd years ago in an original Philly avant/prog band, recorded/engineered two albums and played all along the east coast (The Red Masque, still going), before heading down to NC RTP to pursue a few other ambitions, while resorting to solitary music, except for some friendly jams here and there.
Lately I've been working on getting back in the circle to play along with other humans and see if we can shape up some material for live audience consumption. I can see a healthy dose of covers as a starting point to help the band shape up and get a better feel for everyone's musical toolbox as we would move towards writing. I don't really mind the setup in the beginning: happy to work as a duo with another musician to pick up some direction and then lure in more ears and fingers, or can join an existing band where I can contribute in some way while digging the material, and anything in between. Point is get together and start jamming on these we share a liking. Everything else is secondary, at least in the beginning.
