Band to Join.

ABOUT

Solid 5 string bass player with light keyboard skills looking for hard-working, busy band. Do my homework. I do my best to sound just like the original recording.
Can play bass to most anything. Can cover keyboard (then switch to bass) on tunes like Journey's "Who's Cryin Now", or Justin Timberlake "Can't Stop The Feeling".
Interested in finding others who treat it seriously and do their best. Able to tour if pay is good for that scenario.
Was an audio engineer for many years and carry those useful skills with me.

Looking for a band that understands how to play what the audience likes, therefore getting rebooked. I'd like to meet a band that has good material for a dinner-type set, then great dance music to keep the crowd there for the rest of the night. Throw in some rockers and country for fun! I don't care if it's Due Lipa or Led Zepp. If the audience is having fun, so am I.
Not interested in endless rehearsals. There's no need at this level. Everyone should be professional enough to do their homework.

Influences

Only two kinds of music to me, good and less than good. I’m not a snob about styles. It's about the audience not me.
Not interested in playing with people who say, "...I don't play xxx style of music...". To me that's unprofessional. We should all try our best at any style the audience enjoys. Keep the audience there, they buy food & drink, owner makes money=happy owner=you get rebooked. Simple.
