Lead Guitar, Drums.

Searching for drummer and lead-guitarist.
Creating a danceable “Classic Alternative” rock/pop cover band. We have vox/rhythm, vox/bass, vox/keys.

Multi-generational song selections from 70's to current: Alice In Chains, MGMT, Muse, Depeche, Keane, Malone, Bowie, Pumpkins, Foster The People, NIN, Jesus & Mary Chain, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Grouplive, Clash, Weezer, New Radicals, Big Data, Blur, Pixies, Wallflowers, The Cult, Royal Blood, Garbage, P!nk, Cure, Gorillaz, Missing Persons, Lovelytheband, XTC, Cage The Elephant, Waterboys, Replacements, Death Cab For Cutie, Radiohead, Gary Numan … maybe take some recent popular Indie songs (Clairo, Dayglow,..) and play them harder (Ramones/Pistols).

We'll add edge/rock to techno/pop songs. For examples see how:
- Depeche Mode's drummer plays a techno song live (also watch the end from 5:30): https://youtu.be/1tZxMi7EG3A
- Frankie Goes To Hollywood plays a disco song: https://youtu.be/QuNe0OynObw
- Gary Numan plays a synth song: https://youtu.be/SU0X1sMemYk

Want to make band unique with:
- song selection
- some keyboard bass
- occasional vocal effects

Not a working band, it’s for fun, but top-quality (we're detail-oriented and passionate).
Play live 1-3 times per month anywhere in Bay Area.
No backing tracks, play everything live.

Have PA, lights. Prefer use of in-ear monitoring. Using a wedge would limit vocal effect options (feedback).

More: I'm currently keyboardist/vox for 'Classic Pop' cover band The Dawdlers (we’ll have rare future gigs). In the 80s I was keyboardist on the "no more scooter rides in the cemetery" song ('Christian Boy') played on Bay Area's KQAK and college stations nationwide.
