I am a 24 year old drummer from Tama, IA. I have played in several bands over my 11 year drumming experience. Most of my experience comes from writing songs and being in 3 original bands. I have also experimented with a couple cover bands. I have opened up for Brett Micheals, Ratt, and a few other big named bands. I've had the pleasure of playing at the SXSW festival in Austin, TX, Six Flags Over Texas, the Iowa State Fair for 6 years, and several other creditable festival/venues that really don't matter because it doesn't make me a better drummer. I am slowly straying away from originals, and wanting to start/join a cover band. I like 70's, 80's and 90's rock and SOME new rock. I am open to country songs as well, but not an overwhelming amount. I am 24 years old but I am a very mature musician. I take rehearsal serious, I do my homework, and I am open-minded. I am looking for a committed group of musicians to start a long-term project. Aside from the seriousness of the project, I like to have fun. I enjoy having a couple beers while I play and I love to laugh. I am looking for some like-minded people to play with. I am capable of some background vocals/harmonies and some acoustic guitar experience. I have rehearsal space but I am also willing to travel up to 45 minutes from home (Tama). I am an extremely versatile drummer with experience in ska/punk, country, rock, funk, and hardcore metal. I do not make judgements on people's musical taste because I am so open-minded.
