ABOUT
Razz is a contemporary violinist. She began learning classical violin at the age of seven and quickly progressed through complex solo repertoire on violin and viola.
Razz’s introduction to modern music and the electric violin began as a jazz violin player which formed the foundation for her experience with improvisation. In 2008 she joined the all-girl bandBlowUpDollz, using her previous experiences with improvisational playing and her interest in modern rock music to integrate the electric violin.
Razz expanded her horizions to professional studio work in 2010, writing and recording parts for rock EPs and latin albums. She has recorded in multiple studios including Ex’pression College, OTR Studios, and Orbiz studios in Seattle. Razz has also worked with internationally renowned electric violinist Mark Wood as part of the Mark Wood Rock Experience.
