Although I play jazz, I also enjoy pop, motown, oldies, rock, show music, many forms of Christian, including contempory, country, fusion, ethnic, and so on. I consider myself, and have been told, I'm quite professional. I have the abiltiy to pull off a real good job without much notice. I have a great deal of technique, but I enjoy using only what's required, putting the music and the total picture first.

Influences
Having strong roots in jazz music, my major influences are Buddy Rich, Elvin Jones, and Tony Williams. I enjoy playing many types of music, so often my influences don't come out much. I enjoy playing clean appropriate parts and treat that as my challenge to be the best musician I can be.
EQUIPMENT
I use a Gretsch drums, Zildjian cymbals, along with various accessories.
