ABOUT
As a side project from my main band, I'm looking to assemble a rag-tag group of musicians to play the various songs I've written that aren't appropriate for my other band, as well as collaborate on new music with. I have a studio near I10 & Beltway 8 in Houston and plan on getting together at least every Monday around 7:30. I'm looking for anyone who plays any acoustic instrument (violin, cello, banjo, upright or acoustic bass, xylophone, djembe, tabla... um, cowbell?... horns, though is there a way to keep the volume on those down, maybe one of those plunger things?) as well as a keyboardist, who by the nature of their instrument will have to plug in. I'd consider an actual drummer so long as they have a light touch and will play with Hot Rods or brushes rather than actual sticks. Age and gender matter not... the more diverse, the better.
