Me:
Actively looking for a band to play with.
I play several instruments but I'm primarily a singer. I have a very wide vocal range so it's possible to do songs that most bands cannot do. It seems there's a list of about 100 songs that every cover band picks from, whether they do that style well or not. If you're doing the typical cover band's set list I'm not really into that. I prefer to play with musicians 40 and over who don't wanna be famous. I like to play stuff that girls like, if your audience is women, men will follow. I'd like to find an 80's cover/tribute band, something a little different.
Bowie, U2, INXS, Cheap Trick, Cure, Duran Duran, etc. But I also like the Vaccines, Muse, Strokes, Pulp, Blur, Struts, and lot's of newer stuff. Would love to do a 60s British Invasion or 60s and/or 70s radio hits kinda thing too.
