Vocalist wanted for Progressive Metal Band
We are a band with members in their 20s formed a few months which plays original music based on numerous musical genres from Heavy to Stoner to Melodic Death Metal with elements of Glam, Black and Folk Metal. It’s a mixture of genres which is easier classified as Progressive Metal.
Our songs include heavy guitar parts, as well as acoustic parts, have unconventional structures, are mostly E standard tuning and the lyrics are generally personal, emotional, social and political commentaries on life.
We are a ambitious and hard-working group with dreams and aspirations to make it in the music world. We want to write and record quality music, perform live as much as possible and tour.
The vocalist must:
Be dedicated and be readily available for rehearsals and gigs
Have a dynamic range, so be able to sing high and low notes
Contribute to the writing process and write your own vocal harmonies
Be open to experimenting with different genres
Be able to rehearse once a week, preferably twice
Be within our age group (18-25)
Have a good stage presence
Be a cool person, while are ambitious we are also a group of friends, so we need to get along with one another
