AKA: Damn Chic Rockstar
Chic Singer (not a karaoke wannabe queen) seeking to join or form new band.

You must be committed and versitile in many styles, backup vocals a plus.

This New Band will consist of lead guitar, rythm guitar, percussion/drums, keyboard...oh, and a Damn Chic Singer ;o)
I have a home located on the edge of York/Dallastown, and have a heated Barn for rehearsals, including a 8 channel 1200watt Mackie board & a Zed 14.

Too many influences to list...but here's a short list of artists that we will cover:
Shakira, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Fergie, Anastacia, Shania, Faith Hill, Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac), Bad Company, Pink, ACDC, Melissa Ethridge, 4 NonBlondes...and much much more.
(I did mention that you must be VERSITILE right?)

Auditions are being held RIGHT NOW, so be sure to get in touch ASAP to show me what you've got!

Manager is ready to book gigs the second I give the wink...or the finger (I mean the thumbs up)

As for rehearsals...I look at rehearsals as time to put specific songs/set lists together and get it tight. You must learn your part prior to rehearsals. Personal Rehearsal time is up to each individual.

However, if originals are being created, then that is obviously a different story.

**Everyday I spend at least 4 quality hours of either learning at least one new song, working on vocals, tightening up songs, etc., or a combination of these. I realize not everyone has this capability due to other commitments, and do not expect the same rigorous schedule, but I do expect the same commitment to this band, lifestyle, and arena. This is not a job to me, it is a passion to be lived.

Yes, you do need to bring your insturment/equipment. However, if you feel comfortable, you may safely leave them here in between rehearsals/gigs.
