The casual semi-professional a cappella doo wop group Remember When is starting up all-vaccinated practices after a pandemic hiatus, and we would love to find a tenor with a really nice voice who knows the leads to the old songs. We plan to put on a ticketed show this Fall like this one (s://./watch?v=XkGvuzBq3DM) we put on in 2019 at Scottsdale Shadows. We also plan to do about 6 other local performances throughout the year.

-We sing because we love to get together to sing. Sometimes we get paid to sing.
-We sing about 50 doo wop songs nearly entirely by ear/rote. We sometimes learn using words and chords, but rarely written scores. This is a unique musical experience.

-At least five singers required for a full group. Can take up to 5 alternates (learn full set in our style) for redundancy.
-Practices near the ASU/Sky Harbor area most weeks for about 2 hours. We can reduce practice frequency once we know 30 songs.
-Performances throughout the year centered on a ticketed show in the Spring and the Fall with the first to happen Fall 2022 or possibly Spring 2022
-We will audition these seven easy songs:
--Duke of Earl (Gene Chandler "Dukays")
--Teenager In Love (Dion and the Belmonts)
--In the Still of the Night (Five Satins)
--Barbara Ann (words provided; Regents)
--Come Go With Me (Del-Vikings)
--At The Hop (Danny and the Juniors)
--Book of Love (Monotones)

We will be holding auditions at Scottsdale Shadows. COVID-19 vaccinations are required. Please let me know if you are vaccinated and would like to schedule an audition.
