Here's the deal:
CURRENTLY ONLY LOOKING TO SING.
1] I've had a one man band become a live project and then go back to a one man band again. I'm looking for something outside of that. I can play guitar, bass, sing, program, dabble on keys, and I used to drum though I doubt I'm very good at that anymore.
2] I have a pretty loud/high range voice. Some people say I sound a little like Ozzy or David Draiman from Disturbed or Johnny Santos from Spineshank/Silent Civilian. Whatever the case may be you can decide what I sound like for yourself. Here is music I've done by myself (all instruments and vocals): ://eviladam./ and ://theundyingmonster.
3] I really want to be part of a nice tight outfit, whether it be metal, punk, grunge, industrial, rock or something that combines it all. I just want it to have a bit of a crunch and be something I can get into.
4] I'm a starving musician like everyone else so I don't really have tons of cash lying about so I kind of suck at the whole "who wants to chip in for a NEW HOUSE to live and practice in" sort of thing... I'll cover my end of the necessities and will bus and train it wherever I need to go (don't have a car currently) but I've been in bands and projects enough to know that paying a venue to play is BAD so I won't do that. I do, however, have tons of equipment to use for just about any situation.
5] I'm musically hungry. Just about every project I've been involved with is on hold or everyone is too busy to get something going cohesively so I'm looking for something new and I rather it be as a singer than anything else right now.
6] I'm drug free, 34 years old (that most people think is in his 20s), I drink in moderation, and have a sick and twisted sense of humor. If you don't like any of that, then you won't like me. I say lots of dirty words while joking around. It's only a problem to those who don't get my sense of humor... so far that hasn't been too many people.
7] If you have any questions you want to ask, go ahead and ask them. I'm fairly open minded, I just want to get back to music and playing live regularly and HAVING FUN with it while taking it seriously.
Just e-mail me at the address that is tied to this posting, and please be within a manageable distance from the Jersey City/ Union City/ Bayonne/ Hoboken/ NYC/ Hudson County Area.
