SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Hello,
Professional live/touring and studio musician here with a plethora of stage experience and credits. I've run the gamut from "Road Warrior" to last-minute "Hired Gun". I'm primarily a drummer/percussionist, but also am a multi-instrumentalist and a trained Bari-Tenor vocalist.
I possess a BA in Performing Arts, and am proficient in a multitude of styles/genres on each instrument that I play.
I work hard, play hard, am always on-time (early, usually), and have never missed a show or broken a contract in over 20 years. I have no criminal record (i.e. I've never needed "bail money"), have never pawned an instrument, and have had my own running vehicle since I first got a driver's license. I'm not married, I have no kids, and my rent checks always clear. In short...
...This is my Living, and I take it very seriously.
I am always on the lookout for new connections, ways to keep filling the calendar, and like-minded business-savvy professionals to work with. I can be available for studio work, sit-in gigs, touring artists/organizations, or a permanent slot with an established act if the chemistry and professional atmosphere is solid.
Strengths:
-perfect "relative pitch"
-fast & accurate procurement of material
-metronome-solid, able to play to a click when required
-punctual
-solid "pocket" player - "flash" available upon demand. :)
-ability to maintain/repair gear "on the go"
-able to travel; valid U.S. Passport
-full PA/backline***; 14 years experience mixing live & studio, and setting up staging & lighting
- Recording engineering/editing/mastering experienced with Pro Tools, Radar, & various DAW software
If interested, please make contact and provide as much detail as possible about you, your project, and your needs and logistics, and I will be happy to submit the appropriate rate sheet(s)**, rider(s), travel information, contract forms, etc. Sample work, resume, and accolades are available upon serious inquiry, also.

Influences
Broad range of musical and professional influences spanning from the "predictable" to the more obscure. If someone plays with their heart, or has ever found a new and interesting way to "play the same old notes", then they've probably been an influence in one way or another.
That said, the first person to spark my interest in and enthusiasm for drumming was my father. The second, was John Bonham (posthumously). The third, who inspired the mentality of "laying in the pocket and cutting the gig", was the person that gave me my first real drum set: Hal Blaine.
