I have studied voice since I was in high School. I was a member of Samford University's ACapella choir and later became Miss Alabama where I performed throughout the state singing at events and in churches. When married, my husband and I worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for several years playing Jazz standards. Life got busy with raising children and working as a special education teacher with Jefferson County. My children are grown and I am longing to venture back into what I love!!

I have had influences from many genres including Chrisitan, popular, and Jazz standards, as well as classic country. I love Nora Jones, Diane Krall, Michael Buble, Bonnie Raitt, Cynthia Clawson, David Pehlps, and many more.
