Retro Heart. Its a Retro Spin on modern music! We are looking to assemble a band of gifted musicians and singers. This project will be taking modern music and rearranging tunes into classic genres for an act with a retro swing feel.
We appreciate creativity, skill, talent and the ability to rework popular modern music into different vintage genres, especially swing and jazz. If you don't have the ability to learn new material, the desire to challenge yourself, the willingness to make charts, and the time to put into a new project this is not a band for you. Working with us you will get the chance to arrange, re-imagine and retool contemporary pop, rock and R&B hits in a retro style ranging from swing to doo-wop, and ragtime to Motown.
Imagine an act performing modern hits mixed with a swinging 60’s night with the Rat Pack, spiced up with a little Motor City soul and some classic sock hop rock that results in a memorable show and gets audiences involved and dancing.
