ABOUT

This profile is for the modern worship band (Reveal Worship) out of Trinity Lutheran Church, Tinley Park IL. We are a very musically progressive service, started in 2008 within a church that has now been around for over 150 years. Our "Reveal Worship" services are energetic, but dynamic and we are looking for flexible players who can adjust with the feel and moment of the service and within certain songs. We implement the use of tracks and clicks while we play, and would need a player who is comfortable with both. We are seeking players that come prepared, who practice on their own and then we lock it in during rehearsal.

Time commitment each week is 6:30-8:30pm on Tuesdays (normally done by 8:00pm or so) and 9:30am-12:15pm on Sunday mornings. Songs are distributed with chord charts and be links the week before.

We do have a small budget to help stipend certain players and are excited to have the chance to support (even in a small way) our local musicians and artists. If you would like to volunteer your time (or a portion of your time), as a way to serve or give back, that is always appreciated, as what you are not paid would go to furthering another aspect of the ministry here at Reveal, or potentially expanding our live band further by supporting another player/artist.

We are currently seeking to fill positions for primary and backup/occasional players. Contact us here or email Drew at adenlingertlcs for more information.

EQUIPMENT

Because of the need for an extremely quick changeover and soundcheck on Sunday mornings, we backline our gear and use in ear monitors along with a digital desk to quickly load our mix from Tuesday night rehearsals. Here is what we use and supply:

MIXING CONSOLE: Behringer X32 Digital Mixer

MONITORS: Behringer P16 Personal In Ear Monitor Systems (allows for you to adjust and tweak your monitor mix at your fingertips) It is optimal that you would have your own personal IEMs but we do have a couple extra here that could be borrowed.

DRUMS: We supply an electronic kit at the church. We have been using a Yamaha recently, but the church owns a Roland V-12 drum set.

BASS: We take the bass direct into the board. We have a Pro Radial DI available.

ACOUSTIC: We take the acoustic direct into the board as well. We have a Pro Radial DI available.

ELECTRIC GUITARS: For both lead and rhythm electrics we house a pair of Blackstar HT-20 heads and run them into two Jet City isolation cabs. We do have a third Blackstar HT-60 combo amp that can be used for additional players that we run from the emulated out.

(If you haven't noticed yet, stage volume is a big issue at our place in efforts to get the cleanest mix possible in our room)

KEYBOARD: We use a Roland RD 700sx. The capability is here to link another keyboard or even the Roland to Logic Main Stage, though we haven't done this yet as we haven't had a consistent keyboard player in a couple years.
