ABOUT

Have you ever been at work kinda zoned out for awhile and when someone finally gets your attention you realize how much you hate what you're doing? Well thats me in a nutshell. I work in a garage 6 days a week, don't get me wrong I love cars and working on them but how expressive or accomplished can I be. I have been playing guitar on and off for 14 years now and other than getting frustrated and pawning everything only to have to start all over again not much has changed. Through good and bad times music has always helped me and it is the one thing I can still say is my own. I just want to play, find people who want to play, it gets rather boring playing the same chords to yourself over and over and over trying to mesh them with scribbled lyrics and nothing making sense. Influences

I rarely hear music I can't enjoy, for me just about everything is influence. To come right out and point a finger at what or who made me play or want to play would be difficult, I honestly cannot say I have "a sound". I have somewhat a bluesy style of playing, more rhythmic than anything. I love squeals and crunches and pops. I dunno. I guess take Stevie RAY, add a bunch of gain and detuning, throw in a few layers of David Gilmore and Adam Jones and you got me. Kinda

EQUIPMENT

Currently I have 1 Hondo Acoustic, 1 Washburn acous/elec, 1 Washburn Strat copy elec "my main", 1 Dean solid body elec, and a small but meaty Fender Reverb Pro "currently building a frankenstien amp" gear is not really an issue..I have means of getting more or less if needed. I have spent the money on stacks and pedals ect ect, to be honest if you can't do it on a pogo stick with strings and a small pignose the expensive stuff will only make you suck louder.
