ABOUT

Grew up on country, gospel, southern gospel, bluegrass, and 50-70 rock. Started singing at age 8, played front act for Lester Flatts, Bill Monroe -Bean Blossom Festival, Did front (warmup) for most of the Performers who came through Beaufort, SC. while in the services. Worked with one of the finest guitar players I ever know, (Olin Brown- who taught Chuck Green to play). Did local TV and radio shows in Indiana during my teens. Never failed to win or place in all talent shows I did. Played Rhythm Guitar for nearly 50 yrs, bass for over 30, banjo, dobro and steel for 5 yrs now. Fell in love with playing the steel. I love most all forms and genre of music. From classical to blue to country and rock. Now I just want to play steel mostly. A lot of years since I joined this page. I've been playing bass and singing in a small church now. I mostly just work on my songwriting now.

Pedal Steel, Volume Pedal, connected to a Peavey 400w PA head with two 12" PRO speakers. Can use just one speaker if need be.Ibanez 5 string bass.
