Hi, we are the Rhapsody - Smooth Jazz Band. We are a cool group of dedicated, mature, top-notch musicians and awesome people located around the bay area from Sacramento to the East Bay to the Central Valley.

We typically practice every other week in Tracy or Fairfield. Each member is responsible for learning their parts and being prepared to ensure smooth and efficient rehearsals.

We are all coming back after Covid downtime; our plan is to play top venues such as Yoshi's, wineries, corporate, etc.

Currently we are in search of a Sax player with killer chops and a smooth, badass tone! We do several instrumentals that feature Saxophone. Bonus points if you have a digital horn and know how to use it. We really want someone who knows knows the genre, and can bring their own unique personality, creativity, and musicality to the table. Our primary goal is to grow as musicians and play music we like with our own style. Money is secondary, Commitment and dedication are paramount.
