ABOUT

I've been singing my whole life and have a fair amount of formal training and theory and was invited as a Carnival Legends Show guest performer.
Enter my drum kit. While a drum student at the School of Rock in Oak Park I played drums, vox, bgv and tambourine in "Tambourine Emergency" and "Bad Things". Then in 2016 I played drums for the amazing and brilliant "Magical Beasts" When Love's a Stranger. s://magicalbeasts./

Currently I seek a rock project where I can drum, singing some bvg if useful and perhaps even lead vox on a song or two. I love to play for fun but am naturally goal-oriented and seek to commit time, energy, sweat and dedication to the right project, people and gigging goals. An inclusively all-female project would be ideal.

My studio has a 16 channel Mackie, stands and amps. I can't currently host there but I'm ready to collaborate over Jamulus! I'm Rhock on that platform too.

Influences

I love classic & southern rock but I'm strong at any covers of the best of the best classic rock, have a strong handle on pop and alternative, and love to sit in with blues and folk bands.

Faves: Zep, STP, Black Sabbath, RHCP, Foo Fighters, Aerosmith, Allman Bros, Skynyrd, Stones, Black Crows, Van Halen, Bruce...but I go way back in time and cover rock & pop from the 60s to now.

EQUIPMENT

Zildjian crashes (Medium and custom A & ZBT) and high hat (zbt), Sabian 20" Ride, with hydraulic Evans and Remo heads on snare, 2 basses, 3 toms and double kick pedals. I play tambourine and have rather assorted collection of hand percussion including a cow bell, a rain stick, chimes, etc. I don't play hand drums or a beat box.
