I have been playing bass for 23 years. I have been in three bands. One was 90s grunge alternative originals and covers called SD out of London Ohio, where I still reside. This was in the mid to late 90s. For those not familiar with London, it is a small farming town 25 minutes west of Columbus. After that I helped form another band, again with friends from London called Stone Groove which was, for lack of a better description, a jam band that did originals and classic rock covers from bands such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, The Beatles and others. We did alright, playing some local festivals; Hookahville and Comfest among others. We played in some form form 2000 to about 2011-12. After that I had some personal issues that drove me away from music for about 5 years. Things have gotten better for me on that front and I am once again wanting to find some like minded musicians that want to make some beautiful music together and lets see what happens. I am looking for do some classic rock, some jam band stuff on par with the Dead and Phish and my local favorite the Werks. As well as some alternative music

Influences
John Paul Jones is who I try to emulate. John Entwhistle is another favorite of mine. Radiohead, The Grateful Dead, Phish, Yes, of course Rush, Les Claypool. I have a funky side as well. Very very comfortable playing the blues

EQUIPMENT
Ibanez 4 string bass, Boss Flanger pedal and Fender Bass amp but it is just a practice amp. In the process of saving money to get a more powerful kit to play through. I know its not a lot but it won't be long til I that is taken care of. This is something i would want to discuss in a one on one situation as to why I don't have more equipment.
