The RyhthymLife (formally called The Nexstep Band) is a melting pot of soul/gospel/funk/r&b/reggae and jazz music all rolled into one. The group in its former incarnation has appeared with a wide variety of artist /productions such as jazz great Gerald Albriet, BET Comic View, blues artist Brodie Buster, Black Expo, just to name a few. Group Members are: Darrell Braden (bass, vocals), Wayaem Yeshimebet (lead vocals, percussion), Kenny James ( piano and synths), Greg Evans (percussion,vocals) Robert Frost (drums) Chris Williams (guitar,vocals) Cedric Rolex (lead vocals). The renaming of the band to RhythymLife reflects a new image, highlights the collective talents and cross genre songwriting approach incorporated by the group.
