ABOUT

I've been playing guitar for about 45 years (WOW that's a long time). I studied at Berklee and have a degree in Studio Music and Jazz from the University of Miami. I've worked as a professional musician (clubs, studio, casual, touring), composer and producer in Miami, Nashville and Los Angeles, and worked with some of the top names in music including producers David Foster, Humberto Gatica and Rob Chiarelli. I play most styles of music well and authentically. My biggest strength is accompanying singers, playing the right parts in the right places to make recorded songs and live music sound better. All that said, I quit music professionally in 1994 and have since enjoyed playing for fun. From 2005-2007, I played in Band From TV with actors Hugh Laurie, Greg Grunberg, James Denton, Bonnie Somervile and Bob Guiney, playing high profile events and raising lots of money for charity.

For the past two years, I've been playing fairly steadily with a group called Little Fish. We've played most Friday nights at Bogies in Westlake Village. But things are slowing down and I am looking for other musical situations and opportunities including gigs, jamming and recording situations. I also enjoy working with goof singer/songwriters, either on live gigs or in the studio.

As far as gigs, I would like to find a band (or two) that gigs in the San Fernando Valley or in Ventura County anywhere from once or twice a month to once or twice a week. I'm looking to play with good musicians and nice people, playing classic rock, pop, blues or almost anything. I would also love to find players interested in playing Jazz-Rock fusion for fun and possibly gigs.
