I've been a bass owner for a very long time, and a serious student of the bass for about 4 years.
I can sight read (getting better) and transcribe
I can read / write / interpret chord charts
Tab is mostly wrong, but i could interpret
Self-studying music theory + wanting to apply what I know
Interested in possibly a cover band of all kinds of music
and
an original trio or more playing original music - however influences mesh
whatever pans out, I just want to play!
I practice my theory - learn 5 or several songs - play them very well - grow bored - rinse + repeat
this is lame - need musicians to play with
Also "play with" keyboard - using it to learn theory + to have a little fun - will expand my usage
