I have been playing guitar for 14 years, and primarily play 60's-80's classic rock/metal/blues. However, I have recently gotten into electronic music, and producing music in general. I have been learning Ableton Live and FL Studio. I've been trying to soak up the history of electronic music.

Basically any guitarist you name, I have probably heard of and listen to.

In terms of electronic music, deadmau5 is who got me into producing it. I also enjoy Synthwave such as Perturbator, Lazerhawk, Powerglove, etc. I've been getting into the history of it, going back and listening to Apex Twin, Squarepusher, etc.

I'm a big fan of video game music and I feel like a lot of those composers don't get a lot of credit. Specifically from the 16bit and ps1 era.
