Able to listen to a song once or twice and have it down providing a solid bass line; or add acoustic/rhythm guitar. I am not a solo guitarist, but am really good at chords. I do lots with alternate tunings (DADGAD, and open A / E tunings with Capos, etc). I also enjoy lots of experimenting with new chord progressions. Have written numerous acoustic songs and would enjoy collaborating on more.
My goal is to get out there and have some fun, and get out and gig again on either bass guitar or rhythm guitar. I am really interested in developing an acoustic duo that does some things like toad the wet sprocket, Lowen and Navarro, and Jars of Clay style. I like many different genres so I'm flexible, but my primary go-to place is rock and alternative. I've been playing guitar for over 30 years and bass for around 15. I practice nearly every day at least something - but would like to do a minimum of once a week with other musicians.
Let's talk! I'm easily reachable at rich dot huebner at dot com
I live in Hull so I'm trying to find others around the south shore area. Brockton, Dedham are also cool as is quincy, braintree, etc.

Youre My Person
Youre My PersonHappy, Upbeat Song. Key of D.
4This one is simply called "4". Don't ask. It started off by using phrasing of four patterns, then quickly shifts to do some interesting bass and keyboard riffs. This has a slightly "Blue Man Group" feel to it. It's a ton of fun, and I really like how this one came out after remixing and adding some compression, delays, and reverb into certain places in the track. Please let me know what you think! Yes, yes, it's a terrible name for a song.
Waves Crashing Onto Me
Waves Crashing Onto MeThis one is a more emotional song, in wrestling with emotions after my mom passed away last year. Music and writing music like this has been a comfort and kind of my go-to place when I'm feeling sad about her passing. Emotions come as waves -- sometimes gigantic waves, and sometimes gentle waves.
