ABOUT

I am a singer, with a strong background in lead and rhythm guitar if needed, looking for a band to play cover songs, with the possibility of doing originals. I can make my voice sound very similar to many singers, including classic rock artists such as the Doors, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Cream, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, and Dire Straits, 80's new wave and rock artists such as Duran Duran, R.E.M., U2, J. Geils Band, Tears for Fears, Asia, FYC, Midnight Oil, and Georgia Satellites, and 90's alternative artists such as Pearl Jam, Live, STP, Green Day, Hootie and the Blowfish, Cracker, and Smashing Pumpkins. I also write music and have a number of hard rock/alternative songs completed by laying down the vocal, guitar, bass, and drum machine tracks through home digital recording. I'm dependable and dedicated but very easy going. I've gotten sidetracked with certain responsibilities and obligations over the years but feel this is my calling. I'd love to get together with anyone interested in playing any of the aforementioned music and make friends and have great times in the process!

EQUIPMENT

I have a PA system (JBL twin floor cabinets, Crest 500-watt power amp, Samick 12-channel mixing board, and Shure SM58 microphone), Jackson and Ibanez electric guitars, an Ovation electric acoustic guitar, Marshall and Crate amplifiers, multiple effects processors, a Tascam 24-track digital recorder, a Peavey bass, a Boss drum machine, and a Sterling recording microphone. I would want to get more portable and compact gear if we were getting ready to play live.
