ABOUT

I am 47. Don't let that number influence you TOO Much. I'm still learning, I'm still hungry. I have been playing in clubs since I was 16yrs old. I do not have a formal education in percussion or music. I was a (DUMBASS) Too impatient and going TOO fast. I am working on fixing that problem now. I have done studio work but, I am not a studio musician. I have 3 studio albums to my credit, 1 live album and 1 live dvd. With The Travis Allison Band and earlier work with TotemHead in the early 90's. Recently with SKEETERZ. A band out of Macon. Have toured the east coast continuously for 7 years until late 2000. Been in a holding pattern here in the Macon area. Ready to Kick up some dust.

Influences

My basic influences began with John Bonham,Mitch Mitchell,Neil Peart,Omar Hakim and Manu Katche. My love for music has expanded that list to include Vinnie Caluitta,Dave Weckl,Carter Beauford and about a hundred others. More recently I have really been attracted to the heavier Drummers from alternative and metal genre's.!!( Shinedown,Seether)!!,Five finger Death punch and BFMV. This is the direction I really wish to pursue. Well written Songs with good structure,Lyrics and heavy energetic drums and .....VERY IMPORTANT..........(NEW) GUYS I've played every song under the sun. OVER n OVER for 30 years. I prefer originals and I love NEW Covers..I AM AWAKE AND AWARE. Been on the Bench TOO long. Not scared to work with Young musicians. Give me a chance. I KNOW What I'm Doing and I'm Willing to Learn What YOUR Doing
