Richard Baumgardt better known to you maybe as "Tricky Dick", "T-Dangerous", "Boner", "Bone", "Pretty Ricky", or just Richie B started playing piano when he was 5 years old. Music has always been his passion as he follows in his father's footsteps with the God given talent of Music and the ear that allows the pure genuine sounds come thru your speakers. Baumgardt, recently signed with Slip N Slide Records "on da grind" March 7th, 2012 which is an opportunity to showcase his talent and receive votes from his fans, friends, and family for a shot to be signed by the Major Label Slip N Slide. Throughout the opportunity, Baumgardt needs to prove to the label why they should fully invest in him. This is not a contest. Slip N Slide only has 52 artists in the world that are signed to "on da grind" all fighting for the chance to strike a major deal. Otha "Vakseen" Davis, discovered Tricky Dick when Baumgardt sent in a mp3 to there submission email. The following day, Vakseen got back with Tricky Dick and offered the opportunity to be on da grind with Slip N Slide Records.
Tricky Dick grew up in Racine, WI 20 miles south of Milwaukee. Growing up he would always bust out card tricks that earned him the name Tricky. Then when he was out with his child hood friends he would always bust a rap and that earned him the name Tricky Dick. As his music career has evolved he started focusing on writing music and production. Now at the stage of his game he needs the support from his fans to make it to the next level!
