ABOUT

Music is a way of life for me. Never have I considered my music to be a "hobby". It is just me, who I am. I enjoy every aspect of playing music. Even loading and setting up the equipment! I have done some recording, and have three CD's.

I taught myself how to play drums. Following the drums, was guitar. I thought I wanted to be a lead guitar player. All the while I was teaching myself how to play bass guitar. Of all the instruments and music I have taught myself and listened to, I love playing bass guitar and rock music. I am always open to new ideas and music with one exception I do not enjoy Country/Bluegrass. I respect the Musicians and their talent but it is just not for me. I am a self taught musician, I do not read music, I play completely by ear.

Influences

The following bands and musicians have influenced my life as a performer and musician. I enjoy composing my own music, riffs & have written the music for songs. Ted Nugent, UFO, Black Sabbath, Godsmack, Johnny Winter, Jimmy Hendrix and Robin Trower have been very strong influences on my style of rock. I also enjoy the music of the following:
Deep Purple, Tool, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains.
