Influences
60's and 70's Rock and Roll, Rythmn and Blues. Classical music, Jazz. Too many names to mention but as an example: SRV, Jimi, Kansas, [Emerson, Lake, and Palmer], Keith Garrett, Vince Guaraldi, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, J.S. Bach, Ludwig Von Beethoven, etc. Good cover music, but if you want to do something, start out with some simple blues, you can rock it, but see where you take each other. Too many people try to sound like someone who’s already done that. Covers are great for gigs and learning new licks, but do your own thing. Have fun.
