Founding member of the Americana Band "Rickey Gene Wright & Duck Creek Station" and Registered BMI Songwriter Composer. Our music fits into the Americana Genre with a Texas Country flavor and a pinch of Progressive Bluegrass and Acoustic Blues. We currently have regular gigs in the Dallas Metro area. We concentrate on events and venues where the people go to hear music. We play at some unique indoor-outdoor restaurant venues, music festivals, coffee shops and private parties. Rickey Gene is the former stage band leader for the Mesquite Opry in Mesquite Texas and former lead singer and songwriter for the progressive country band "Broken Bow". Looking for musicians that want to work on original music for live performances and studio recordings. Although their music concentration is on original songs they also have Americana & Country cover songs prepared and play 3 hour gigs on a regular basis. EQUIPMENT

Duck Creek Station - Rickey Gene Wright is the songwriter and lead singer and he plays on a Seagull Solid Wood Series Six String Acoustic Guitar and Yamaha Acoustic Electric Six String played though Fender Acoustic Amp with his Personal microphones and Harmonicas. Two sound systems are used one for large venues and one for small venues. Denise Owen has been singing and harmonizing with Rickey Gene for fifteen years and she plays an electric keyboard using accordion/piano/american indian-flute styles, Martin Delabano plays mandolin, Gregg Dietz plays acoustic bass and Marc Quinn plays acoustic drums with various other percussion instruments.
