I am a 50 something rock musician. I have been playing since I was a teenager but I'm no virtuoso. I played on stage with a local cover band named Crash Nelson for 6 or 7 years. That was a blast. I started by played bass, then switched to rhythm guitar and I sang backup harmonies. We played at all of the major clubs in Baltimore and Ocean City. It's been years since I played live because I wanted to pursue auto racing. I still play the guitar and sing a couple of times a week at home.
I like playing rock guitar. Classic rock mostly (because everything I used to consider modern rock is not classic as well). I can play some lead, but I am not a shredder. I have a good ear for music and can pick up stuff rather quickly. I also like playing acoustic guitar and singing. I like to play for a crowd, but I am too old to "make it someday" as a rockstar. I just want to have fun.
I don't drink or smoke, but I don't mind if others do.
I live in Finksburg, MD and I am married with a daughter. I am a part owner of a custom cabinet shop in Glen Burnie. I also enjoy photography.
