We are really just looking for a bassist who can also sing (lead or backup singer is fine). Four piece band with rhythm guitar, lead guitar/slide guitar, bass, drums and two of us are also vocalists. We have only done a couple of gigs, the most recent of which had a 5 dollar cover and brought in 87 people. You must be someone who wants to be A PART of the band not a studio musician or whatever. that means sharing 25% of the responsibility (writing, money, planning, etc). We are all 21-22 and also have a keyboardist who is not a "member" of the band but has gigged with us and will be at our next show on December 19th. He will also be recording our demo with us January 1st -3rd. Need someone asap for the gig especially. Once we record in early January we plan to give our demo out and be gigging regularly. We already have a substantial fan base and the potential once gigging regularly is big.

Influences

Ridley (lead guitar/vocals): Personally my influences are The Allman Brothers, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Clapton, Derek Trucks and people and bands of that nature. My guitar teacher (Scott Sharrard) plays guitar for the Gregg Allman band and thus that is a lot of the kind of playing that I base my style on.

Julien (rhythm guitar): I'm into all sorts of rock, but my main influences are the precursors to punk, post-punk, indie rock, mod rock, psychedelic rock, northern soul, and Britpop. Bands would include The Byrds, The Who, Oasis, The Beatles, The Jam, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, The Kinks, Television, MC5, Fugazi, My Bloody Valentine, Sunny Day Real Estate, Husker Du, The Strokes, etc... Raised on classic rock--The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Grateful Dead, etc... I like hard-edged music with strong pop sensibilities and that is what I try and bring to the table with my songwriting.

Amos (drummer) is more interested in bands like The Band, George Harrison, The Beach Boys and classic blues stuff like Derek and the Dominoes.

Fender blues hot rod 3 amps. Me-Fender telecaster and Gibson Sg. Julien- Fender Stratocaster. Amos- not sure about the particular drumset. pedals for overdrive and wah wah. Shure mic. other stuff too.
