Greetings,

Jeff McCrae and I are proud to announce the formation of our new band, Riley McCrae. We will be performing material from both of our catalogues. Jeff and I will also be writing new material together.

Thirty-something years ago, Jeff taught me to play guitar and - after losing touch with my "big brother" for to damn long - we've now come full circle. He is also producing all of my upcoming recordings and will be the musical director of our group.

Bleu Ocean, my close friend of 30 years will be our drummer. Bleu and I have made a lot of music together through the years. Hey, he was the best man at my wedding! Now, we look forward to doing something really special.

On bass, we have an illustrious singer-songwriter and leader of his own band, Michael Zuko. Mr. Zuko is one of the only people who remembers my shows with the DC10s umpteen years ago. He is also a great friend and one of the true "good guys" of rock and roll.

What we need now is a keyboard player with the chops and vibe to join this special lineup.

We're all about well-crafted songs and arrangements partnered with professional musicianship.

We'll be rehearsing 6 hours every other Saturday at a studio to be determined in NYC ... starting sometime in July, with an eye toward the best mid-sized venues.
