Currently in a band, The Prezleys, with a colleague I met while we both sang in our church choir. We both play acoustic and electric guitars and both sing. I add some percussion(sticks, guiro, tambourine) once in a while as well. We are currently using a drum machine for our drummer. We’ve been playing about 10-12 gigs a year at Assisted Living Facilities or Senior Centers. Play a lot of 50’s, 60’s, and some 70’s and a variety of requests if we’re able. We play for fun and maybe for pay someday. I’ve played off and on since high school, but have been taking lesson the last 2 years and play almost every weekend one or both churches I’ve attended. Looking to continue to improve and meeting my goal of being a rock star when I retire in 10 years!
