I started performing in small talent shows in NY since middle school; both on stage and on radio. I preformed in karaoke bars, restaurants, and even in school. It was then I found my calling: to be a singer. I knew there was something special about my voice because I was a boy soprano all my life so I kept with it. I took a break from performing so I can concentrate on my work in high school, but I continued to practice my singing.
I'm 18 but I still see no change in my voice. It seems I'll remain a boy soprano for the rest of my life. It sounds nice for a singer, but then when you think about it, getting mistaken for a ma'am on the phone is really not pleasant. And for the love of God, being compared to a woman... don't even go there.
