Hello! My name's Rick. I am a pro level drummer, been playing for 17 or so years now, and I set up this profile because I want to expand my musician network in Pittsburgh. I know a lot of people in different local bands here, and play in a couple already, but I'd really like to expand my level of work as being either a hired gun for gigs or pulling in possible recording work. I can play well to a click, both recording and live, like to keep my drum set ups simple when possible to get in and out of the gig as easily as possible, and always make sure I get the details worked out with each gig before it happens (aka how many rehearsals, pay rate, what time I'm needed to be there, etc etc.) Considering my goal is to eventually have enough work to not need a day job at somepoint (isn't that the goal for all of us?) let me know if you have a gig or session that needs a drummer and I'll be happy to jump in! I mainly play rock/punk/metal type gigs, but I have been classically trained in percussion, and can jump in for gigs of nearly every type and genre (and love to do so, as I love a break from the norm!) Influences
My initial influences growing up came from Morgan Rose of Sevendust, Joey Jordison of Slipknot, and Travis Barker from Blink182. I have obviously expanded my repertoire since that time, and draw influence from bands anywhere from Periphery and August Burns Red to Flogging Molly, Drop Kick Murphies, AC/DC, and numerous other sources.

EQUIPMENT
All drums are actually custom worked and finished. I have multiple drum and cymbal set ups, and have any and everything to get the job done properly for any gig thrown my way.
