Note: I'm not looking for new projects at the moment.
I've previously worked with Hope Darling (hopedarling), ShineBox Live (/shineboxlive) and Desert Rain Band (/desertrainband).
I like to play nights and weekends. I enjoy working in a jazz or blues or rock band where the members pull their weight, respect their fellow band members as well as the audience, no kids stuff. I have reliable equipment and transportation, a day job and no chemical dependencies.

Always Track number: 1 Year: 2012 Album: Dumbstruck Genre: Alternative
This is the first track off our Dumbstruck album, completed in 2012. I chose to move around a bit on the verses but keep it rhythmic on chorus.
It Should Have Been You
It Should Have Been You Track number: 6 Year: 2012 Album: Dumbstruck Genre: Alternative
This slow, blues-influenced song needed some movement in the bass. I have to water it down slightly when we perform live so I can pull off the backup vocals. Some people can walk and chew gum at the same time... I'm not so coordinated. :) The lows were boosted in this clip so you could make out the bass line better.
Route 66 Track number: 1 Year: 2010 Genre: Jazz
Minimally mastered / compressed cut of a swing jazz rendition of Route 66. Some tracks were peaked and the vocals are super dry but you can tell the band has a good time together
13 Floor Drop Theme
13 Floor Drop Theme Album: 13 Floor Drop Genre: Jazz
We used to play this at the head and tail of all our sets
Fire and Rain
Fire and Rain Genre: Folk
The drummer and I were locked in, just laying down a mellow groove. The recording is not superb and I boosted the bass so you could hear my relation to the kick... the result (at 96KHz) is low-fi but you can hear what is happening.
