- About me; Im 30; 2 kids & GF; just out of the Army after 10yrs; not into drugs but do enjoy a few beers or burbon. Ive been playing for about 15yrs. My first band was playing bass (some Primus influance there) but Im primarly rhythem guitars. Self taught and catch on pretty quick by ear and can put a grove to almost everything thrown at me. Ive been into alot of the death Sweden/Poland metals lately and have been writing on dropped 7strng. Im not too high tech and prefer the chugging fast beat rhythems that shake your heart and put it into arrhythmias or the twisted slower rhythems that cork screw your heart out of your chest with no reguard to your sternum. Im comfortable in any tunings and have a jam amp and a Madison full stack for stage. Some of my influances are the older metal scene of Iron Maiden; Metallica; Ozzy then into Dreamtheater; Joe Satch and all the way to Slayer; Behemoth; Arch Enemy and Cannibal Corpse. Im mostly comfortable with rythems - not much of a high end soloist my self. I prefer to work on original stuff and colaborations. Included is a link to my page of my last band project that I was messin around with a while back, rather crude recordings (I have better recording equipment now) but a descent example of my own guitar riffing (I wrote and had to play all the parts except the drums so please dont mind my vocal abilities, lol).
